Town of Washtucna

About Us

Washtucna is centrally located amongst wheat fields and cattle ranches in eastern Washington state. We are a little over an hour away from Spokane, Pullman, Clarkston, Walla Walla, Tri-Cities, and Moses Lake. We are 17 miles from Palouse Falls. We have about 200 people in our little town.

Bassett Park in Washtucna is a popular place to view birds. People come from all over the state to catch a glimpse of 147 different birds, such as the Western Tanager pictured here.
